I'd Like to see you beat my friends 8)

Stock for stock(unless it's a cobra or a Vette) he probably could. On a road course a Vette is probably all that could take it(equal drivers).

1969 chevy c-10 truck with a 454, 550 HP, 750 HP with nos and shift kit, And his other one, 1971 chevy camaro z-28 with a 400 small block, vortec heads, demon 850 cfm carburetor, and shift kit.

His plate says I EAT V8s... Not I beat built big block drag cars on juice.

What kind of 1/4 ET does he pull?(From an actual time slip)

I am pretty happy to have taken out a few V8's so far. I mean for a non-awd vehicle, fwd drive @ that, 4 less cylinders and half as much torque....I can hold my own.... 8)

I dont know if he was talking about Adam or Davis but he was probably talking about straight line racing. Either case there are alot more fast V8s in this area than fast 4 bangers and I know of at least 2 sub 12 sec street cars F-body and Rustang.

Not to be a butthead or anything, but if these people have these cars... get them on the forum, get us pics, etc. Things like this are hard to believe without proof, and if these people/cars do exist they might actually like to visit the site.

Just my opinion, no harm intended.

You talking to me or MGB? If me you never seen a mildly built Mustang or F-body before? The world is full of them.

Oh and MGB I would love to see that truck. Oh and Davis did you see the Tuner Riceformation on speed they turned a Sti into a regular Sube. Took off the wing put the reg non scoop hood on a and installed a front mount IC. People probably didnt know what hit them it was the best TT I have ever seen. Side note a guy i know on one of the crx sites was contacted by TT and they want to use his crx could be good or bad.

I have been reading there articles each month. Make them = . The Sti with Evo handling and the Evo with Sti power.

I believe the power issue would be easily solved...some tuning and turn up the boost...voila!

Handling sometimes isn't as easily achieved. I am sure Davis you would agree you car handles well. So it would be tough to impove on it. I think sometimes the "tuner mags" try to make a big production out of it. Instead of try the little things first. Many times it comes back to bite them, in the a$$.

Either way....interesting articles... 8)

It would be great...if a few "autocross veterans" would give us "n3wbs" some insight on all this lingo...might help us out some...and make us more knowledgeable 8)

Adam, Start a thread in the Amature Racing forums for autocross Q&A. I've been doing it for a couple of years. It's hard for me to remember all the questions I had when I started.

No sponsorship thru Hoosier. If you make it on TV or race in a series that is on TV, they'll cut you deals on tires. that's it.
If you are a National AutoX'er, you can get contingency with Hoosier/Kumho/Tirerack.
