Bought the car with a blown motor
Car has 65,000 on chassis and the interior is near mint
Just swapped in a d15b motor and it runs good
Has an automatic transmission that slips and thats why its so cheap
Shifted at first, felt like it slipped into gear but it shifted. Sometimes it wont shift though and this is why I figure the first motor in it blew up by over reving.
Would be a great car after the tranny is fixed.
Im gonna work on it a bit tommorow and see what happens, drive it around and stuff.
Im pretty pissed right now because my brother and I spent alot of time on the swap and had it actually start on the first turn of the key only to find out the tranny sux while driving it.
