Been looking for some part time work to keep gas in the tank for the daily drive to WSCC...anyone know of anything? Had an interview at autozone, but the store manager said I was overqualified for the job and should find work at a shop or garage instead. When he asked "A customer brings in a car that's overheating...what's wrong with it?" I should have said "MEANS WE NEED TO SELL THEM A COLDER ENGINE LOLOL!" so yeah...I'm going to stand out by Wal-Mart now with a sign that says "Will work for gasoline" :backinmyday:

Is that telemarketer place (Used to be Civic Development Group of WV years ago, but later relocated from Pburg to Mtta) out on Newport Pike? It's not the ideal job, but it pays.

It was the southside autozone.
As for telemarketing...did that when I was 18 and it sucked so much ass.

I know it does, man, but not as much as being out of work. At least consider it as an option until something better comes along.
I was out of work for 2 months in '07 and was freaking out. I had to cash out my 401(k) (and pay 30%+ in interest/penalties) and was spending 8-10 hours a day scouring job sites, modifying resumes, etc. Finding work, in itself, is a full-time job...

Sweet!! discount parts!!!!

The discount is kinda lame...20% but it doesn't count for oil, sparkplugs, antifreeze, or parts that have to be ordered (and everyone knows autozone hardly stocks honda parts). I think it's cool with brake pads, but since they don't stock EBC's it's useless for me.
Working there does count towards the two years needed for the ASE certification though.

When I worked at Advance, I got my discount on everything including oil, antifreeze, ordered parts, etc. I still get it when someone I used to work with is in there lol
