Gran Turismo (PlayStation)

I saw the post for Forza on x-box, and thought that Gran Turismo 4 needed some attention too. Apparently it has been delayed again... this time to March (sony's official website) Anyway, I'm a big X-box guy, but after seeing this and MGS 3, snake eater... Sony has impressed me in the graphics department.

PS: I don't want to start a big PS2vsXBOXvsGC argument. Lets just accept the fact that each person has a system that "fits" them better.

Looks good...graphics to me are only part of the equation. Gameplay is the vast majority of what I look for..... 8)

gameplay is more important than graphics to me...which is why I hate games like Halo

I do agree that gameplay is number one. I still play mrs. pac man on a regular basis. It's just that playstation is considered "graphically inferior" to Xbox, and this game is beautiful. And it can be argued that Halo isn't simply about graphics. I honestly haven't had as much fun with multiplayer since Goldeneye.

Halo is deemed "the Best multiplayer game" b/c there is nothing better out there....until we have something to rival it, I don't see what makes it so great personally... 8)


Just like saying that Microsoft is the best....is it really? There isn't any other competition.....it just seems ok, b/c that is all we know.... 8)

Well, your right... Halo hasn't had all that much competition. Although Nintendo tried to use Metroid as a "Halo Killer," it didn't turn out quite as well as they hoped. Now PS2 has one (I think it's called killzone) that doesn't have such a sci-fi story line.. which may be a good thing for most of their target audience.
Oh, and by the way being a mac user i am required to say, we don't have to feed the monster that is Bill Gates... Come to the darkside... so what if you can't play games :?

The old Metroid games were awesome. That pisses me off so bad that PS delayed GT4 again. The PS3 will be out before GT4 finally hits the shelves.
