Looking to get an autocross car

Well, I want to get a second car again, preferably just to use for autocross. I dont want to spend more than $1500. I might just get a miata again, or a neon ACR, depends really on what comes about. Does anyone have any other ideas?

5th gen civic, cheap entry cost, you can buy suspension or other mods to get into more competitive classes, and the parts are dirt dirt cheap. 240sx, same as the above but more fun (if you prefer RWD), just have to be careful about the frame rusting on the 240.

Either one of those would be a great entry level fun/auto cross car, and would give you the opportunity to mod slowly but surely.

I got a couple leads on some neons and douche bags don't take down their ads for 240's but they all had blown engines anyway.

Eh, after the work you did on the body of the Miata a 240 motor swap would be cake man. But, good luck on whatever you do get, seems to depend on the day as to what jack asses think junk is worth.

Neon is about as cheap as they get. One good thing is they handle great out of box. Watch out for the HG failure though.
