Buschur's webstore quoted a price or 300 bucks for the downpipe, but David Buschur quoted numerous times on evolutionm.net that the price was 275. So, I email my order to them. Jarrod Emails me the next day saying that the order looked fine, but he needed the security code off of the back of my Visa; I reply with it. The next day he Emails back telling me he can only ship to the address of the Visa card holder(I was gonna ship it to my mother; it's a present from her and my grandmother); I reply with a "fine". The next day I see a charge on my Visa for 950 odd dollars which is about 450 dollars more that what it should be. 450 just happens to be about the price of their catback which I already have. I call Jarrod and get it straightened out. The next day the package shows up and everything is fine except they didn't ship me any bolts. I call them; they ship them out; next day I receive them. Wednesday.... geezee..... time for the install. Three hours into the install, including at least an hour to cut off the welded on slip fit flange on the cat back, I see that they forgot the nuts to mount the DP to the exhaust hangers. Call Jarrod the next day; they ship them out. I went to a autoparts store to get some nuts, cause I wanted to finish the install. I finish the install only to find that the DP hits both lower tie bars and the diff housing. ARGHHHH...... When the exhaust hanger nuts show up the next day, they sent me every nut, bolt and washer required to install the whole dump-back exhaust. They also sent an installation sheet and....... spacers for the tiebars that they forgot to send before. I still have yet to put the spacers on. Jordan.... need those ramps back buddy.....

^^^ I know thats a big archaic paragraph, but at least its not a run-on sentence and I used punctuation.

I'll post about the butt-dyno results, sound and craftsmanship once I get those spacers put on.

Once I received the tie bar spacers and installed them, the tie bars clear fine. The spacers arrived in a seperate package later in the week(it's a long story). I used a dremel to take care of the diff housing. It still needs a little trimming.

OK. Let me start by staying that I hate butt dynos. I usually hear overly optimistic reviews. I'll try to be pesimistic.

I'm impressed with the results. The only thing I think the cat-back gained was a little faster spool-up. But with this, I can feel a bigger difference. It seems to spool sooner, faster and pulls harder through the RPM range. I'll try to do some datalogging to put some numbers behind my review.

The sound inside the car is not much louder than the cat back... which wasn't much louder than stock. The car is louder from outside the car... kinda sounds fast 8) . I'm quite happy with the sound. I drove Jordan's car Thursday night to get a comparison. His intake is so loud... it was hard to hear the engine. And I can't do a performance comparison with his car because he has a boost controller and NEONS 8) .

Did I forget anything? Jordan, what did you think about it?

Of course the other question is...

How much HP did those neons give? Butt dyno numbers are ok too.

Anyways, glad to hear the exhaust is going well and that was a good review. . It is very similar to a setup I'm looking at. (however you got a great deal !!!)..I'm looking forward to see the EVO take SM this year!
