Ok, so maybe you've played Need for Speed Underground, GT3, Project Gotham Racing or any other game.....now put those skills to work on a real track.
Virginia Internatinal Raceway is a top 5 track in US (as is Mid-Ohio). Prep your car and your brain for a weekend of high speed action.
HPDE (high performance drivers education) is NOT a RACE. It is exactly what it says. You use your own car, (doesn't matter what kind of car your how fast and slow your car is!) you have an instructor and you build up speed on this road course. There is lots of classroom sessions as well as in-car go fast lapping. All organized and taught by a professional group of high-speed experts. This is by far the best education you can get on how to drive your car properly....by understanding what you and your car can do at various speeds without getting a ticket!!

VIR...General info about the track.: http://www.virclub.com/
Tarheel BMW CCA chapter this is where you get the info on the HPDE itself ...some link s aren't working or available yet.

Robbie, Swallace and myself went to Mid-Ohio this past September. See here for the review: http://movfast.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... highlight= (http://movfast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=519&highlight=)
Personally, going flat out on a road racing track is the ultimate rush for me..
Who's going? Post up!
